When a file in the library cannot be located, QMidi will ask you to find it manually. QMidi can automatically paste the missing file’s name into the search field of the Locate dialog—but only if you have granted the necessary macOS privacy permissions.
If this feature stops working, you can reset QMidi’s privacy permissions. After resetting, macOS will show the authorization dialogs again the next time they are needed. This is usually easier than searching for the specific permission in System Settings. 🙂
